If you’re looking for out of the box WordPress themes, Templatic has it. Templatic was launched last December 2009 but the company has been in business since March 2008, with the name Premium Themes. The name was changed for better branding of what they have to offer.
Templatic is based in India and is made up of a small team of people, with R. Bhavesh as founder and administrator. When Templatic started, they only had 25 themes, but with steady growth they now offer a wide array of themes ranging from basic blogging themes to business and e-commerce themes. So for our Templatic review, let’s take a closer look at the company and the themes they have to offer.
Templatic WordPress themes are advertisement ready and allow you to monetize your website easily. All their themes come with a theme control panel that makes this possible. Templatic also releases themes for every niche, and they also release at least 2 new themes every month. All the themes from Templatic are professionally designed, are well-coded, and SEO friendly. What this means is that your business or brand will get more potential traffic by using their theme.
However, the coding in their themes is hard to follow and customization can be quite a challenge. This is where StudioPress gets a few points up compared to Templatic.
The themes from Templatic have professional design. Templatic comes with a large number of color schemes and styles, seriously offering something for everybody. Dark styles have stylish colors like purple and blue that forms an impressive contrast to amuse visitors. Others set an even more professional, low key feeling with subtle colors. People can market virtually any business or organization with Templatic themes that are on the market today. This theme house offers a gorgeous assortment of original choices.
The club membership of Templatic costs $299 a year, and you get unlimited theme licenses as well as unlimited access to all of Templatic’s WordPress themes. You will also get access to all of the themes and updates that will be released. You will also have access to their member’s only support forum.
Templatic gives you a single license theme for $65.
When it comes to support, you can get help and talk to a real live person with Templatic. You can call Templatic Mondays-Fridays, 9am-6pm (GMT +5:30). They also have a forum where the founder of Templatic himself is active in responding to inquiries and interacting with members.
However, just because you can talk to a live person or post questions in the forum means the support is 100% excellent. It can take a few days before your question is answered, and the people answering the phone are not the best when it comes to answering your theme questions, especially coding and theme structure questions.
So to conclude our Templatic review, this is a company with its own ups and downs like many others. I’d personally recommend their themes to use if you don’t have any major customization in mind, or if you are already skilled and experienced when it comes to coding. Other than that, there’s a lot of room for improvement and I do hope Templatic does take the time to improve the areas of their business that need improving.
